It wouldn't show on a photo. But you can hear it.

Same thing happened with the Sony/Zeiss 35mm and Fuji X100t.

Im sure most wont notice since they use AF and some dont care (I can live with it,). Its just a shame imo that such expensive lenses are made from such brittle metal. Might as well use plastic then..

Voigtlander are one of the few still sticking to proper metal. For some reason I haven't experienced the same issues with Panasonic or Olympus. And of course not in Canikon who use plastic for the most part.

No point in carrying this any farther, the mob has spoken. You are guilty of using the word brittle instead of malleable in a language that is secondary to you. How silly, I knew what you meant as soon as I read it. Thanks for the review.

No there isn't any point. One of the things that bothers me a lot with forum behavior (not just DP Review, but all on-line chatter) is the inability of people to just admit they made an error and move on.

The OP is clearly wrong in his usage of the word "brittle" when using it to describe characteristics of metal. Rather than recognize and simply admit that it is not the correct word and move on, he has to try to prove that his usage of the word is correct. He goes on to label those that point out his mistake as word police and continue in his use of the word.

Ever read "Through the Looking Glass"?  “When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean."

At this point who actually cares about his lens comparison?
