Re: Deals like these are made by the manufacturer not the retailers

For a deal like this - its not from the retailers - its coming from the manufacturers and the retailer applies for their rebates / discounts after the fact.

The rules are set by Fujifilm - someone must have called their sales rep to confirm if the deal works like they think it worked and gotten an answer and the website was updated or the deal has expired, they usually limit the quantities that sell at a discount.

Are you saying that it expired already?

I put the items in the cart, 35f2 and 50f2 and is showing the $600 off after hitting the button view cart or something, or refresh it. If is showing -600 in the cart then it should go thru because that's what the system is showing. Who cares who is providing the deal.

I really don't understand the problem here. Oh well.

Too bad it was not a legitimate deal. But this thread has been an eye opener.

for folks that would really like to buy this camera right now as a combo with lenses you don't have to feel sorry for yourself because Samys Camera has this promotion as well, online or at the store.

If you put the Xpro2 in the basket along with other lenses you do get an instant $600 off. Hey, six hundred dollars is six hundred dollars, right?

AND on top of this, I might be wrong, but I think you get no sales tax if you are shipping it out of California.

Have fun with it.
