Just ordered myself an X-Pro2, 23mm f2, 35mm f2, and 50mm f2 on Adorama. The lenses were:
23mm = $149
35mm = $99
50mm = $149
Altogether the Total came out to $2096. I am pretty excited to receive it. Thought I would pass on the deal to everyone just in case you all wanted to know.
Looks to be an error. I don't think you're suppose to get a discount on all lens, just one lens per xpro2. I just reported the pricing error to Adorama. Hopefully they'll fix it.
Why would you say its an error? Also why would you report it to Adorama? The deal says up to $1800 in savings. I have already asked Adorama about the deal and they said it is good to go. Also, this deal has been on their site for the last 2.5 weeks and I assume if it were not real they would have taken care of it by now.
Sorry if the deal seems "to good to be true" for someone who paid full price but no reason to go into to blue falcon mode and try to ruin it for everyone else.
The Adorama link says "Create Your Bundle and Save Up to $300!" Not save $900. You know it's an error. I've linked this thread to Helen Oster, a customer rep from Adorama, who is a regular poster on here.
For the record, when I looked at this earlier today, it said, "Create Your Bundle and Save Up to $1,800!" I thought, "How did they get to $1,800 in savings?" Then I realized it would be a $1,800 savings only if you bought all six lenses. And I thought, "Well, who would buy the same lenses in both colors? That's a silly sale offer. Oh well."
I wasn't personally interested, other than out of curiosity, but it looked totally legit to me and never occurred to me in reading it that it might be an error of some sort. I think it's uncharitable to suggest the original poster was engaging in "stealing" as someone else suggested. It did look like a legitimate offer because it wasn't just a glitch in what you could add to your cart, the savings was stated in narrative/text form as well. It looked pretty clear.
