The GF 23mm sample images + RAWs

First off, DPR does not provide any scoring categories for this lens other than an overall score. Sorry.

The GF 23 is so sharp, I believe it is out-resolving this paltry 50 MPs. Just kidding. I'll be the first to preorder the 100 MP version. But, the lens is serious sharp.

If you are anal about moire, you'll have to take steps to minimize it. I shot these two images with f8 trying to get my shutter speed up somewhat in the early morning light. At 100%, I cannot detect any obvious moire.

Since Adobe apparently applies an embedded lens profile provided by Fuji in Lightroom and ACR, I can't report on any lens aberrations such as CA, vignetting & distortion. Apparently, Fuji's lens profile is pretty good but that is different from the lens being good itself although I have no reason to believe that the 23mm isn't a great lens and Jim K's tests provide comfort.

Quite frankly, I am still trying to get my feet under me with regard to processing. I used the same sharpening settings I use with other cameras but it may be too much.

Once you've done fifty, everything else is iffy.
