Tens of thousand images out there, I don't see one of them

I think I'm in photographers block or something, overall I'm happy with images I have taken. I recently moved which affected my photography, from a large city to a smaller town, beautiful and touristy but definitely different.  The night street photography I was doing is out, no one on the streets at night here...lol.

More of a rural community with large tracts of less developed areas.  I drive them in my car doing about 15 miles an hour looking for shots, but everything I see is trite to me, farm house with flowers on a long field beside the house, horses in yards, structures covered by moss, etc.

There are all kinds of interesting areas but I'm just not seeing shots, and I blame this state of affairs on me and not my surroundings, lots of photographers here, just joined the local club.

So what do you do when you hit a photographer's block?

Given the choice between excellent equipment and great skill, I'll go for the skill every time.
