A6500 + Touit lenses – For those curious

Hey everyone.

Long-time lurker of the forums, occasionally commenting on forums when I have the respective Sony cameras and think i can help.

Right now I've got the a6500 and the three Touit lenses (12mm, 32mm, and 50mm), along with the a6300 as a backup.

I'm in a unique position, as my wife and I left our jobs in the US to backpack through Southeast Asia for at least the next year. I'm still getting used to the lifestyle, but I've been shooting thousands of frames with the a6500 and Touit lenses.

If you're curious as to what the combo can produce (in the hands of an amateur that is trying to strong-arm his way into becoming a professional), check out some of these galleries:

I still have a ton of photos to look through even as I continue shooting, so I've got plenty more that I like as keepers but that aren't up yet on the website. Plus, the Singapore photos are essentially quick edits that were cropped for Instagram Stories, so those will be updated soon.

Speaking of which, our Instagram is mostly photos created with the a6500+Touit combination: www.instagram.com/thepassportmemorandum

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions about the camera or the lenses, I'm eager to help with any honest feedback or first-hand experience as I continue to use them. For example, I'm currently without my 12mm, as its focusing mechanism stopped working and I had to send it to Zeiss from Singapore. I'll update the forum with the Zeiss warranty experience if it seems worth mentioning.

Take care and happy shooting!
