Re: Video Files on Rebel T5i SD card became corrupted

Sandisk offers a free drive scavenging / recovery utility with all their cards I believe still which should be up to the task. I've never used their flavor, but the premise is it parses/scans the actual disk, not just what it catalog file of the disk advertises which both the camera's OS and your WinOS write changes to in order to track what's on the drive (this is invisible to you obviously). There's a good chance your data may still be salvageable, also a good chance it's not given your circumstances.

Drive recovery in my experience is around 50-50 with other competing utilities, probably the same here.

If you lost the small brochure with the link and code that came with your SD card, give Sandisk customer support a buzz, they may be able to hook you up with another if you provide them proof of purchase / serial number of your card / tell your sad story.

Good luck!
