That's some gorgeous light-drama. One wonders when getting up early whether the effort will pay off, indeed it did on this morning.

32700+ posts here?? I feel very honourned (provided you still have some life/breathing space left after the online-suction-process has taken its fair share??)

I had heard it said that when taking up photography the first 10,000 posts are the most difficult. I wanted dearly to become a somewhat decent photographer, so I got to work.

I get up every morningn at 5:15, in stark contrast to my student years where anything before 9:00am was an utter insult. Life can be interesting before 9:00 that's for sure. It's Winter here (a mild form of an English Summer some might say) where temperatures are moderate, but the daylight hours are still being cut short. This of course makes it such a lazybones treat to drive up the hill after 7:00.

Heh. I miss the morning light, but I'm not early to bed this past decade. And I can't stay up all night either. Oh, I remember when I could. . , [g]
