Vignetting is a lens issue. Fast lenses vignette more than slow lenses and there is no way around that - even the most expensive camera lens will vignette.

So some post processing is needed to get good results from night sky photos - no way around that either. Learn the lenses you use to know, and learn how to process night sky images - and this will become a splendid part of your hobby for the rest of your life.

In some cases apodizing filters (darker in the middle) can be used to avoid vignette but at the cost of light loss (the cheap and easy solution is to stop down the lens - eventually to use a star tracker if going deep is of interest).

Night sky photography can be very frustrating...
