is there a way to set up one of the X100F buttons to toggle the flash on/off (with "on" being some preset, like TTL Auto) or cycle though the modes with successive presses?

I know I can map a button to bring up the flash settings but then I have to use the control wheel to select the right mode. Same thing on the Q-menu. I'd just like to be able to turn it on with a click or two. I'm coming from a X100S if that gives you an idea of what I'm looking for.

I'm mostly loving the X100F so far but there is definitely a lot of new ground from the X100S. one thing I don't really like (which probably contributes to the above) is the rear wheel, I find it almost impossible to move it without pressing it - especially to the left. I don't have a problem with the front one. Hopefully I'll get used to it but for now I miss the d-pad wheel on the S.

One approach to avoiding the need to roll a control wheel to turn on the flash is as follows.

1. Switch the flash on and set the default setup, eg. TTL

2. Hit the drive button on the D pad and select any one of the continuous shooting modes.

By switching away from the "Still Image" drive mode, you effectively disable the flash. And by switching back to "Still Image" drive mode you effectively enable the flash. So this way in two clicks you can effectively toggle the flash between enables and disabled states. Of course it also means that you would need to normally shoot in one of the continuous drive modes to avoid use of the flash.

hope this helps.
