Andy,
I really like that look.
I'm wondering if perhaps I can obtain something like that with my G3X?
Any ideas, anyone?
I found on this site that the G3X does have a "nostalgic" creative mode : http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-g3x/canon-g3xDAT.HTM
If it's close to the S90's, maybe you can get a similar effect using it ?
Yes, and there are other Creative Shot mode filters which I have not yet explored.....
Thanks, Chaplain Mark! I wonder if your nostalgic setting is like the setting on the older G-models...I liked using that setting to fade the color and really make the picture look like an old picture. Play with that setting and show us what you come up with. I also agree that there are settings that I haven't even played with yet. The creative potential in these small cameras is just amazing!
Andy
Andy,
Methinks what I will do is to shoot and post some side-by-side comparison shots, using the various creative shot filters, for direct comparison....
