Why is a battery grip considered important for vertical framed images? I find holding my dslr's in vertical orientation as or more comfortable than horizontal without a grip. With my right hand on top for vertical my wrist is locked almost straight whereas with horizontal hold it's bent backward some. Either way left hand still supports the camera the same. Just wondering.

As to the 7500 high iso seems to be quite better than the 24mp sensor. If they come out with a 5700 or whatever they decide to call it with this sensor I might have to consider it.

For some it's more comfortable based on the physical size or strength in our hands (or it "just is"). Particularly with heavier lenses and when at busy events where I shoot a lot a grip is not only more comfortable but feels more stable ad steady.
