Re: Metz 60 CT4 & Digital cameras?

For my Metz 60 CT1's I made a quick 10 minute update so I can use these batteries:

I soldered one of these onto the contacts of the powersupply: https://www.amazon.com/MassMall-10pack-5-5mm-Power-Pigtail/dp/B00XTY8WUY/ref=sr_1_40?ie=UTF8&qid=1497368794&sr=8-40&keywords=dc+power+jack

Now I can use the $10 battery instead of the $85 battery. Since I have 2 Metz 60 CT1 this saved me a considerable amount of money! I have taken a couple hundred consecutive photos with this setup and I haven't been able to kill this battery... or even slow down the recycle time.  Swapping in a new battery (I haven't had to do this yet) now takes 3 seconds instead of 2 seconds because you have to plug in the cable.  The power supply is now considerably lighter than when I was using the old lead acid battery.
