Dear Friends,

I have a big confusion to choose a lens between Tamron SP AF 17-35mm 2.8 vs Konica Minolta AF 17-35mm 2.8-4. I have heard d something like KM is having more flare prone attitudes than tamron. If anyone used these lenses could you please tell me which one would be much better to add into my lens collections.

Heard about these two lenses.

KM +ves

Tamron +ves

Do these have huge color tone differences in outputs? I am using a Sony A7 body with LA-E4 adapter.

Detailed replies are welcomed,

Dany

Two things here, first thing first if your are planing to use these lenses on a full frame camera the tamron wont work as is designed for an APSC sensor.

Now, in regards of the lens flare the Minolta is prone to lens flare however is easy to control, it is sharp but I wont be as sharp as other modern optics. I use it on my A99ii and it does the job, although I must admit that at some point I will upgrade it to the Tamron 15-30 2.8 that is mighty sharp wide open.
