Image Stabilization makes the Fuji 18-55 more versatile for Video than 16-55

i am shooting lots of video with my Xt2. When I was deciding on lenses, I looked at both of these all purpose zooms.

I do a lot of hand held-follow the person shooting. The couple of stops of image stabilization that the 18-55 has smooths out a lot of shakiness,- especially if you are wide at 18mm. It is not the ultimate solution, but having it instead of the 16-55 can achieve better results. The autofocus works for me. There are no other alternatives in this zoom range. To get steadier shots would require

1. Getting an in body image stabilization system like the G5 or olympus's newest 4/3rds camera. This has its own trade offs with sensor size.

2. Getting a gimbal system . Weight and ease of use is an issue. I am considering a very light weight system zhiyun tech crane professional which will require not using the Fuji battery booster system and loosing audio monitoring.

any thoughts on lenses or alternatives?
