Hi guys, i just wanted to get your opinion on which set up to go (coming from 5d mkiii user). I am torn between three setup as my budget allows. First i am eyeing for the xt2 combined with 50 mm f2. Second one is xt20 matched with 56 f1.2. And last the xt20 matched with 50f2 and 23f2. Which one would you reccomend as i often shoot portraits and sometimes fashion. thanks

Thank you guys for all the inputs, i just purchased my new cam. I decided to get the x-t2 together with the 50mm and 23 f2. The way the focusing of the points works blew me off away the xt20.

Great choice of lens. I would have suggested the XT2 as well. If that's what you want, save up for it, otherwise you'll end up getting the XT20, selling it or putting it aside, and then getting the camera you really want (XT2).

For everyday shooting, my older 23 mm f1.4 rules. It is the single most used lens on my XPro2. That translates into 35 mm which works for me: I know many people go on and on about the 35 mm or 50 mm equivalent, but I've never found 50 mm to work for me.

I did a model shoot just recently with my XPro2 and the 50-140 f2.8. Keep in mind that the depth of field on APS-C sensor cameras is about 1.5 more so an f2.8 is going to look more like an F4. However, I'm not sure you want that shallow of a DOF anyways. I've cursed myself several times how one eye would be in focus but the other isn't when the focus is so shallow.
