I bought the Samsung NX1 within a month of release. Recently got a 16-50mm S lens and loving it more. Shot few clips at the Comic Con 2017 and they turned out to be cool.
Honestly, I will buy another NX1 if my current one gives up. Even though Samsung is not producing them anymore.
you should consider yourself one of the lucky ones. Almost 3 full years of use, while the other crop cameras of that time are seriously behind modern ones. The Fuji flagship was a 16MP one for crying out loud!
I say you got your money's worth back, and then some!
I consider myself lucky and still buying up gear for this camera. Keeping eye for a 50-150mm S lens. Had to replace the sensor once under Samsung warranty. Since then no issues.
Never used it for professional reasons or events yet. This covers more of the hobby part along with Canon 70D. The latter, which I use mostly for events and weddings.
Question: What the 70D does better than NX1?!
One thing I miss in NX1 is the vari-angle lcd. Until few months ago, I didn't have the S lens for the NX1.
