Hi guys, i just wanted to get your opinion on which set up to go (coming from 5d mkiii user). I am torn between three setup as my budget allows. First i am eyeing for the xt2 combined with 50 mm f2. Second one is xt20 matched with 56 f1.2. And last the xt20 matched with 50f2 and 23f2. Which one would you reccomend as i often shoot portraits and sometimes fashion. thanks

The field of view for the 50 and 56 are 80 and 85mm respective to that of the full Frame bodies.  That seems a little tight for a single lens solution if you ask me.

The two best lenses you mentioned are the 56 F/1.2 and 23 F/2 in that order so, that's a tough choice, even if the 56 is about 10 lpmm better than the 23.

I started my kit off with the Fuji X-T20, the 35 F/1.4, and the 90 F/2.  However, the tightness of the 35 (56mm field of view respective or full Frame) is one I now think would have been better served by a 23 F/2 as my first lens.

I would say look at what you want to shoot first and then decide from there.   I shoot my grandkids and friends pictures the most, so I knew I wanted portrait friendly glass.  If you're the same, I would say check the FM forums and buy a nice used 56 F/1.2 for $650 - $700 and a 23 F/2 to stick on the X-T20 body.  Then you'll really have an awesome experience with the brand starting off.
