Still great after all these years.
Re: Still great after all these years.
Mr. Jim LG
- Just a few words to tell you how much I agree with your thoughts & feelings about the Olympus C210UZ. A few friends who have the same camera & I refer to it as "my Uzzie". The camera in addition to being excellent has almost a personal feeling to it- when I pick it up I feel as tho' I am shaking hands with a good friend.
Two years ago I blew out the electronics & the camera sat idle for that time while I wrote to several camera repair companies in the US, mainly in the UK & a several in Europe. I am in Portugal & met an x-Olympus employee who recognized me on the street. We chatted a bit & I told him of my misfortune. He told me of someone in Lisbon who might be able to fix it for me, I followed his suggestion & 3 days ago I had my Uzzie back in my hands & together we are raring to go. My Sony A3000 goes into forced retirement immediately now that my Uzzie is once more serviceable.
Just wanted to touch base with another lover of that particular camera. Continue to enjoy yours, I know I will love using mine again.
