Video Files on Rebel T5i SD card became corrupted
May 30, 2017
Have a couple video files recorded on my Canon Rebel T5i, played back fine on camera, did also play back when I put the SD card into the computer, tonight went to transfer files off the SD card to my external hard drive and Cloud, and my video files will no longer play on camera or computer! They will not transfer, either. I have had the card in and out of my camera and computer a couple times since these videos were record. When I try I get the Windows 10 error code (0x80070570). I keep getting messages they are corrupt. I need these videos! The other videos on the card play fine, ones recorded before and after the lost ones. I have not lost any photos and they all transferred fine. I am using a SanDisk memory card. When the card was in my computer, I tried the right click on folder, properties, tools, repair, and now the videos will "play" on my computer only with static noise and a black screen and still won't play on my camera. Help!! I can't replace these!
