A couple fog shots at Golden Gate Bridge

Thanks! I actually almost went on Sunday too. I wonder if there's a site to track the fog over the bridge?

I use this webcam (it has a recap of the previous day if you scroll down, pretty cool to the timelapse).

If you scroll down on here it has a fog map. I am not sure how accurate it is because sometimes it is blank and there is still fog, perhaps it freezes up from time to time. Some of the webcams I look at do freeze up as well.

Speaking of webcam I also look at Sams Chowder webcam from Half Moon Bay, one camera is north facing (towards S.F.) and one south.

Frankly, that last two times I simply went based off my friends tip, "if it is hot on the peninsula (Silicon Valley) then there is a good chance of fog in the city."

I try to use this for predicting vivid sunsets and sunrises. It isn't always accurate but seems reasonably consistant.
