The auto mode of my NX mini tends to over/under expose photos, so not he best camera for the 'I just want to take the picture" kind of person. But with its 1" sensor and features is more capable than a smartphone.
Yea mate, the camera is actually quite competent in taking serious photos. But its non-professional look & handling may just fend off every enthusiast from trying.
I experienced similar problem when using auto so rather use P, A, S, M modes instead.
and yes, i also got mine cheap for similar reason. Now waiting for another non-enthusiast to sell their 9-27mm / 17mm kits dirt cheap.
