I've tried to shoot using the pano mode (X100T) but my result are rather meh (party not in focus etc).

When shooting for stitched panos you should be using full manual - shutter, aperture, ISO and focus - all manual - otherwise you cannot stitch without sudden changes of exposure, focus etc which might change with each exposure. Using a 23mm lens set f8-f10 and decide on a shutter speed that exposes correctly for most of the scene or expose to just avoid burned highlights in the brightest part of the sky (IMO), set focus to hyperfocal or work out where you want max sharpness. use a tripod or swivel without moving your feet and allow lots of overlap - a tripod is best if you have one.

Just my opinion,

Vic

This is all really good info. All my stitched panos I lock exposure and do it all manually. Sometimes I use a tripod, but these three were all hand held. I edit them in LR and sync settings before stitching.
