A 50MP image on MFT is equivalent to using the lens on a FF camera with 200MP, way beyond anything currently in existence. I think the lens has done remarkably well to produce so little fringing!

A somewhat similar image taken with my Olympus 75mm mft lens did not have any problem. The background is not as clean, so it is not as easy to see. This is again taken in Hi-res mode. So be warned, large file.

I guess I don't know what causes purple fringe like this. I just thought it had to do with problems in the multi-coating on the lens and purple light not focusing on the same place as everything else.
