XT-2 & Battery Grip Faulty Downunder

Hi All

Just Back to the UK after 5 weeks In Australia Via Singapore.

Had a few faults on XT2 and battery grip.

The lcd display on camera kept showing red batteries,discharged even with fully charged battries. Turning the camera on and off would not clear this.

The shutter release would not restart camera after time out, had to turn off then back on to get shutter to release.

All the latest firmware and battries any ideas anyone before I send to Fuji UK for repair.

My issues are a bit different but still ennoying

When the left battery is empty at the first time the camera might shut down for 1 second

I also had red battery signal after replacing the battery

removing the tray cured the issue

It seems that to work correctly the grop has to get similar batteries niot a mix of different 3rd party batteries. i think it has to do with the new gauge which is supposed to work perfectly with the new S model....= 150-170 $ more ...
