Rokinon 50mm f/1.2? (Or manual focus / Rokinons in general)

I noticed Adorama has temporarily reduced the price on this manual focus lens which has me thinking about it enough that I've finally posted some of my extra EF-M lenses up for sale to fund it (wife insists I sell something before buying something else, she's right, I mean common, I own every EF-M lens, that's overkill).

But I haven't decided on actually buying it, just very tempted as it is f/1.2 at 50mm, with a native mount; it's shy of 400g too, which for that much glass is good.

The kicker is, manual focus. I've been an autofocus junkie, for-ever. My generation has always had AF. The most taste of I've had with manual focus has been out of necessity whether for macro, or the original M, or even frankly until the M5 really as there were times even with the M3, manual focus was advantageous over AF.

Anyone have any thoughts regarding Manual focus lenses, and any thoughts regarding Rokinons? 50mm (85 on a FF) is a personal favorite as it's a "people popper" focal, as is shallow DOF a favorite.

Focus peaking works very well on my M5, as does the EVF. I've been shooting my EF 50mm f/1.8 STM at f/1.8 in manual for the past few hours, and the results are good, but missing focus just reminds me of pre-M5 days.

I don't need f/1.2, but dropping the adapter's size, and, picking up some extra light and DOF, are both wins. Rokinons appear to have strong IQ too. Also, like many others here, I'd like a faster native lens, the Rokinon fits the bill being fast, light (for what it is) and at $399, it's got me thinking. I'm not interested in the 21 f/1.2 btw. My 22 does just fine as it's sharp at f/2, but the 50 f/1.8 STM doesn't get sharp till f/2.8, and, Canon doesn't appear to be in any hurry to release any much needed fast primes for the M, let alone any lenses for the M at all; it would appear from the lack of rumors, and even patents that have leaked prior, we're stuck with the lineup we have for some time, so, Manual focus tradeoff for a fast 50, I know it's a tradeoff worth considering since it's my favorite focal, but MF might drive me nuts...

I'm selling the two lenses I have up anyways, whether I jump on the Adorama promo or not. The trouble is if I don't buy something soon after selling, I "give up ground" with fighting over the next lens I want, IE my argument is hey, I've sold these lenses, so I can buy this one right? That doesn't work 6 months later unfortunately with the wife...
