Re: Purchases are a subjective scenario...

Once the Pen-F comes down, I'll focus on getting one of those also, but right now, it's unfortunately too high a price. Olympus keeps their camera prices high, even when competitors release models that are as good or better than what Oly produced. But as you can see, it's good to finally see the E-P5 price coming down.
So, I'd enthusiastically suggest looking at the E-P5 and then get some good glass. I currently am using the inexpensive, yet excellent prime - the Sigma 19 MM on mine and the results are stellar.
Good luck...
I share those sentiments. I came back to Olympus after many years away in SLR and DSLR land. I chose the E-M10 II (narrowly over the 10 mark 1, and less narrowly over the E-PL6, due to the latter's fiddly controls - at least in my big hands and not so great near vision). I then decided to go further into M4/3 land and was lucky enough to pick up a low-mileage secondhand E-P5 for a good price to use as a second body to reduce the amount of lens-swapping while out and about.
I soon found that I really like the form factor of the E-P5, particularly with a slim lens, as it is so pocketable - the big advantage of my old Oly XA2 many years ago but with hugely improved control. My only caveat is the lack of EVF (for me one of the main attractors of the Pen-F), and that does have a habit of biting in certain light conditions, though the tilt screen goes some way to helping. There is (at least in my area) a steady trade in the clip-on VF4 for the E-P5, but it takes away the pocketability that scores the E-P5 well.
Maybe one day I will upgrade to a Pen-F, but not for a while.
