White balance on Sony a6300 insufficient?

Hi all,

I am considering buying a Sony a6300, Sony 10-18mm F/4, and Nauticam housing and port. I will use it mainly for work, to document shipwrecks and other submerged archaeological remains. My work usually takes place in shallow waters, 30 ft or less.

I thought the a6300 would be a good choice because of the high image quality and relatively small size which makes it ideal for traveling. There is one big downside for me though, the custom white balance. I read several online reviews which state that the limit on this camera's white balance is 9900K (backscatter review for example), which according to some, is not enough to achieve (reasonably) good colors down to 30 ft.

As I will mostly be using ambient light to capture my subjects, this could be a deal breaker for me. Does anyone have any experience with the a6300 in ambient light shooting?

Thanks for any help and advice!
