Well it is the only objective measurement out there. And there are 5 ways to measure ISO and they use highlight clipping point whereas greycard is more usual. In the end their findings are mostly corroborated by "reallife" reviews.

But again you are talking about their GH4 and EPL5 results. Were were talking Pen-F vs EM1-MK2. I referred to the EM1 and EM5 because I happen to have them. So it's pretty far off topic by the time you get to the DXO results you mention.

I shoot extended ISO 100 with GH4 which does give it better DR (which seems odd btw). I don't know if Em1 provides it. But yes: the difference is insignificant I'd say.

I don't find noticeable improvement on the original EM1 using ISO low. I always shoot raw and expose as hot as possible and rely on highlight recovery in LR, so not much to be gained by having the camera automate that process.
