To compare these you need to keep things equal. This is not a system test, this is a camera test. The lens is a variable that can be easily  countered when you always use the same lens. Time and time again. In this case we have a good lens versus a superb one making remarks on  IQ mostly useless. Especially sharpness, colour rendition and contrast.
