Not everyone bought a medium format camera when 35mm camera were all the rage despite their advantages which were real.

These days not everyone needs to buy a FF sensor camera despite their advantages which are real.

If the 35mm film body was popular because it best suited most users then there is no need to worry as the M4/3 mount format and 4/3 sensor seem to suit quite a lot of users.

So why is it necessary to prove anything.  My team is the best?  Their is sort of "B" league frantic involved in all this chatter when in fact both sensor size systems are playing to audiences in different "A" leagues.

In the end sheer cost, size and lack of variety of lenses kept Medium Format a special purpose excitement - as it remains so today.
