I read this post a few weeks back. I had a chance to check it out yesterday when processing some XT2 landscape photos. No, Lightroom is just as bad now as it was a year ago for worms in foliage in distant trees. Exactly the same, no change. So if you are doin a landscape shot with lots of foliage especially distant foliage it will be ok as long as you don't try to sharpen the image too much. The worms appear early when you use sharpening.

Just in case anyone was wondering like I was after reading the post.
