FF vs Em1.2 The geniuses might be right

That could also be the size at which they showed you the photos. 42 mp downsized to 16 mp would look great, even at ISO 51200.

If you look at this post, you will see the same scene shot with a d750 and an em1.2 at the same iso and exposure.

The IBIS on the Em1.2 means you can actually shoot 3 stops lower, that means, for this scene, 3200iso rather than 25600 (and slower shutter). However, if your scene moves, or, if there is very high DR in the scenes, the D750 wins.. Plus, on my shots, I see significant noise on skin, say, under the chin in quite reasonable lighting and iso around 800.. not so evident on the D750.

These shots actually mislead, me, and, the other problems I found with skin were an issue.

To get too hung up about this is silly, for me, I wanted a super point and shoot, one body and lens that does everything I want. The D750+28-300mmVR doe this better (for me) than the Em1,.2 and 12-100mmf4.

Now, if you are shooting in good, even light, below 800iso, the Em1.2 rig will win, and, for black scenes low light, also, BUT, when you need to crank the iso above 3200, well, you start to see problems.

However, the D750 version of the shot on this post is not as clear..

But, it does noticeably better with the larger scene.

Sure, If I had a faster prime for the Em1.2, the, I'd get another 2 stops lower iso, however, I;'d be looking at about A$5.9k all up instead of A$2.5k or less.

anyway, lets share our experience and knowledge rather than bucket each other.
