A good source of this can be found at www.dyxum.com.

I've used the following Minolta AF lenses on a Sony a7 with the la-ea4 adapter:

28-135 - good sharpness, AF and colors. Long minimum focus distance, heavy and awkward focusing ring

28-105 - surprising good sharpness, AF and colors. Very bad lens creep.

70-210 BC - Good sharpness but better stopped down a bit, snappy AF. Internal zooming makes it long.

75-300 - surprisingly good sharpness for such a cheap looking lens. Pretty bad CA.

50/1.7 - Good sharpness stopped down. AF hunts a bit

50/2.8 Macro - Very sharp wide open and beautiful colors. AF hunts a bit and is very slow when it hunts

Thanks for the responds,

i would really love to hear about the following lenses

Minolta 24-85 vs 24-105 vs 28-135

which lens is sharp and most tend to get Minolta color output? i never used minolta AF lenses before.
