Re: Nikon D810 issue with the Sigma IF EX DG HSM 24-70 f2.8 lens.

When I first got my D810 a couple years ago, i was very disappointed my Sigma lenses would not AF in live view. So I contacted Sigma about it.

They said (via email) to send them in, and have the lens firmware updated. So I did this one at a time, and the turn-around time was very short. Best part it was free. (except shipping)

One lens had a 'faulty' AF motor (worked fine on the D300...) and that cost about $100 for repair. But they sent along a new lens hood to replace the cracked one, so I didn't feel so bad about ponying up the cash.

They now focus with the D500 as well...
