Hi,
I was pleasantly surprised by your review.
You get it.
You understand the strengths and frailties of Sigma cameras.
Others, who have not tried them are quick to condemn.
Yes, 5 stars.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to a day shooting with it tomorrow, the metering on it seems pretty damn good too from my testing so far.
Gents, a review makes always to some content use of an individual point of view - and that review made it clear how to use the SD Q to make most of it, and what is limited. Thanks for the clear and readable way to express that. It was a pleasure to read and it helped me a lot to evaluate whether that becomes my next cam.
I really don't think one should reply in such a way we saw here, even if there's a totally different point of view. We are not politicians and we are not fighting to become the next U.S. president - we are just a community of people who love to shoot photos.
That's a fair point, but I really object to being called a "liar" for giving an honest opinion on what this camera excels at and why I rate it so highly. If I felt it was poor I would have said so, and no doubt been criticised for that, so I guess you can't win either way.
A score (whether it is 5 stars or less) is a very quick way to express something, but the full text is necessary to understand the rating. So here we have the clear statement that SD Q is an extraordinary tool for creating great IQ when used at low ISO which is then almost on the level of a medium format cam. Considering its price I totally accept (and understand) the 5 star rating.

Thanks, I am enthusiastic about this camera, so much so that I am selling others to buy more into the whole system, I think that says something about how much I rate it.
