With all due proper respect-I have to agree with the above posters regarding weddings. I only do backups and that is stressful enough. If you are anticipating doing primary wedding photography, just my opinion, but you need absolute bullet proof gear, multiple bodies and good prime lenses. I love Fuji, but Nikon fills the "bullet proof" criteria better, and even then at a minimum a second body and somebody shooting backup. In no way am I denigrating Fuji-actually I have had absolutely no problems with my old X-100 and the X-Pro 2, but if I could not accept a single hiccup on something the heavy Nikon DSLR might be my choice.

To be honest, I know of plenty of Fuji Pro Wedding shooters and I don't have an issue with that, but dual bodies (with one having dual slots) along with a broader selection of lenses (and additional skills based on the ops questions) is a must, and it seems like all 3 are missing here.

Just get two X-T2 camera bodies. They both have dual slots and they have the advantage of preserving your muscle memory if one of your bodies goes south.

Sage advice here. Rent or purchase with a Visa (payments) for the second body. These events go fast and require a tremendous amount of concentration and the last thing you need is the worry of a "what if a camera problem" or struggling a bit trying to remember the layout of the second cam. Two of the same bodies gives you more time to shoot and less lens changing. Thumbs up on CLiff's advice.

I personally think that the biggest killer of creativity is to be unsure of your gear or your environment.  If you didn't have anyone depending on your work, you could play around with a Nikon D500 and a Sony A7 but when someone is expecting results,  It's much better to be confident in your gear and come back with technically less superior possibilities but at least you will have something to show for your time.  My college journalism professor told me to take pictures  with impact and come back with pictures.

I've tried to live up to that buy when you're the lazy photographer, it's tough.
