Doesn't seem to have much of anything that would benefit Nikon. External functions are being integrated onto the sensor for faster reads, reduced circuitry, and now they are adding buffering on the sensor. Its great for sports photographers with a big bag of batteries, as the vastly increased sensor reads will considerably increase the camera's power consumption. The FPS will leave DSLRs in the dust. But there is nothing here for landscape and studio photographers outside the BSI sensor.

Hopefully for Sony, they can free some internal space for a huge new monster battery because these cameras will need it.
