They look pretty good to me - though the focus point is changing at times (for ex, on the D5600 50mm f/8, only the top strawberry is in focus.  Was that where you focused?)  But in the ones where focus is in the center of the image, the main difference I'm seeing is that the P900 has wider depth of field and therefore more of the image is sharp.  Unfortunately larger sensors do make it harder to get everything in focus at close distances like this.  My comment lower in the thread mainly concerned viewfinder autofocus.  Here, your Live View images seem fine IF the sharply focused parts are where you actually chose to focus.
Do you mean that you weren't looking at the images at 100% before?  If not, the software you're using to view them at reduced resolutions can affect the quality of how they're displayed.  I usually look at 100% to judge sharpness.
