Is Adobe Raw now the best at processing Xtrans?

I was never a fan of Adobe software, as a developer I always thought it to be unintuitive and in general a pain to use. I use PS mainly for the NIK package and up until recently Rawtherapee to develop XTrans.

I saw that Irident Transformer was released for Windows, and being a sharpness freak,

ACR

IT

I decided to do a test.

I processed the same raw file using Irident Transformer and ACR. Check the results, the ACR image is sharper, with more detail and in general IMHO a cleaner image.

I didn't apply any sharpening to the Irident Transformer image in ACR, but I had the sharpening set to hi and raw process set to more detail in Irident Transformer .

Am I doing something wrong with Irident Transformer ?
