Shooting the moon with a $75 Fuji S8630
1

A few nights ago, my daughter said there was a "pink moon", and suggested we take photos of it.  I grabbed my $75 used Fuji S8630, set the Scene menu to night view, tripod, and set it on top of my car as a tripod, used 36X zoom plus the full digital zoom, and then cropped out a square:

Pink Moon

We found out later, that a "pink moon" is just a nickname for the first full moon in April.

This moon photo was taken without even trying hard, on the first take.

Imagine, what a better Fuji bridge camera could do, or even mine, if there was some effort to make the shot better?
