Well, ideal for me, that is.

GX7 + 12-32 + 45-175.

Formerly the Lumix 45-150 filled the telephoto slot, but I was never happy with it. Having now acquired the 45-175 used, and sold the 45-150, I am pleased with the exchange. The 45-175 is a little longer and just a touch heavier than the 45-150, but it doesn't feel like it!

We took this kit to the beach today. Unfortunately, the battery was only half charged, and my daughter, Jessica, on holiday here with me and the family, managed to run it flat before I got a chance to have a go (she had left her Canon at home)! Some nice pix.

SP is the local beer.

Note the specular highlights in the water in the first pic. Looked at in high magnification, they are little doughnuts. Interesting.

For me, the ideal walkaround kit involves no lens swapping, so I have a GX7 & 14-140 for this. Just got me an LF1, and that might become my ideal walkaround kit, because I'll take it everywhere.. We'll see.
