Why I sold my Sony FE system and got back to Nikon
27
  1. It takes 7 seconds to power on an A7R-II before I can start taking pictures.
  2. It takes too much hassle to manually select a focus point whenever the face detection fails.
  3. Its focus tracking ability (during continuous shooting) is too poor, especially under low light.
  4. It enforces 12-bit RAW files during continuous shooting, long exposure or in certain apps, causing a green-ish cast in the shadow, effectively reducing usable dynamic range.
  5. The f/1.4 prime lenses and the f/2.8 zoom lenses are too long, bulky and heavy, and the FE system is no longer easier to carry than a traditional DSLR.
  6. Thickness of sensor cover glass would cause astigmatism/smearing of Leica M-mount lenses, and modification by Kolarivision would affect native FE lenses.
