That camera turned out to be a big disappointment, which really soured me on DSLR'S.

Now that I have my G3X, my appreciation for my camera continues to grow, and I expect it will be all the camera I might need, for many years, as your SX50 is for you.

I'm glad you're enjoying your G3X. As you know, each camera has its own unique "behavior" and it's up to us to give the camera the best opportunity to shine by maximizing its strengths and minimizing its weaknesses. As long as I keep my SX50 within its comfort zone it responds quite favorably.
