As m43 users we are fortunate to have a wealth of choices in cameras, plus the additional bonus of 2 choices of body shape

However, a common complaint regarding the Panasonic rangefinder bodies are the ergonomics, many people have some problems in inadvertent hitting the rear buttons, usually the DISP button.

After handling the EM5 mk II, it was apparent that Olympus understood this common issue...but Panasonic did not.

The solution is the thumb rest that Olympus saw fit to include in the design.  So I simply added my own to my GX7

The extension allows the thumb to gain additional support, the added thickness essentially keeps the thumb off the DISP key as well as keeping rear dial out of inadvertent clicking.
