POLL: Fujifilm X100 camera with a Tri-Elmar-like three focal length lens

Who agrees with me that Fujifilm should work on a X100 camera that has, not a zoom lens, but a variable focal length lens like Leica's Tri-Elmar lens which has three focal lengths, 16mm, 18mm and 21mm.?  I have no inclination to buy a single focal length camera like all X100 models to date, but I would definitely jump at one that encompasses the three most frequently-used short prime focal lengths. It would transform the X100 series, from a niche, cult-like camera, into a seriously monster knockout blockbuster, in my view. Is Fuji listening in?

Even two focal lengths would be incredible.

My suggestions:

- at least the current 35mm equivalent

- 50mm equivalent, since many street shooters like this classic Henri Cartier-Bresson focal length.

- my favorite 24mm

There would be no need for short telephoto lengths because those are not what people buy a X100 series camera for.

I used to own the Minolta CLE, which was able to change the framelines depending which lens was attached. It's so long ago, I can't precisely recall, but I think the framelines in the viewfinder were able to change with different lenses attached. Now in the electronic age, Fujifilm should be able to alter the framelines in the viewfinder, at least for 3 different focal lengths. It is not zooming. It's just selecting 3 different frames.

If a 3 focal length model were to be too bulky, I'd even settle for a 2 focal length model, such as 35mm and 50mm.

I am not presently an X100 user because I do not want a single focal-length camera, but would definitely buy a X100 series with 2 or 3 discrete prime focal lengths.

I am an X100 series user, and would NOT want a model that has 2 or 3 discrete prime focal lengths. I like the single focal length concept and light weight.
