Canon 7D2 AF is not that complicated

In a variety of forums I have seen people state that for action shots with the 7D2 they use, for example,
"Case 6 with tracking at +2, Acc/Dec at +1 and AF switching at +1"

Do people not realise that stating "Case 6" in the above figures is irrelevant.
There is nothing magical about any individual case, the camera would perform the same if you put these figures into any of the other cases.

The important parts are the 3 settings and Canon have simply given you 6 preset cases where you can store the group settings for easier access. It is similar to the C1,C2 and C3 on the mode dial but the 6 cases store the AF settings only.
