Is it possible to use "Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm f/0.95 ver II" on Samsung NX1?
Mounting options:
Sony E
Fuji X
EOS-M
Not if you want to be able to focus on anything even a moderate distance from the lens. The flange distance for NX is much longer than any of the mounts available https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lens_mount To keep focus at infinity you need to be adapting to a shorter mount and have enough excess difference to fit the adapter in.
In short, not possible unless it includes some optics, but those will modify the focal length and degrade quality to some extent (for an example of this scenario see the Canon FD to Canon EF adapters). None of those exist for the combination you are asking about though anyway.
Mirrorless systems are not adaptable between them, are they?
Can anyone use a Sony lens on a EOS-M, or the opposite, or to Fuji, or whatever?
In theory greater flange distance system to lesser flange distance system is golden. In practice, you need enough space for a strong adapter to actually fit and some of the named ones are very close in flange distance. If I am recalling correctly, as little as half a mm between some of them (too little space).
I will said it again, we have to find a way to adapt our NX lenses to something. In a couple or 3-4 years, there will be some need to adapt our NX lenses to other systems. Then what?
It will be very easy to make a dumb adapter as such for that (NX flange is plenty longer than for Canon M for instance to fit in the adapter).... but only the 3rd party (e.g. Samyang) lenses would benefit there. To make a wired one with manual electronic controls for focus and aperture shouldn't be bad building from ihkim. Full electronic control on the M cameras (NX to EF) is something I would ideally like to target if I ever feel finished with EF to NX but like that project, it is a more challenging one.
I read somewhere that EF-M is the same as EF,
It is, but the translation implementation would be different. Currently I am trying to fool the NX camera, in this case we would be trying to fool the EF camera.
and I DO look at the EF-M for the future. Ihkim seems out of the game, I haven't heard from him for a long time now!
Indeed, but the work he did previously on NX makes it a fairly small step to get that level of control.
Unfortunately dumb adapters won't be great for NX lenses, as they all are full electronic lenses.
Yep, I noted such, but would still be very nice for some members here with lenses like the Samyang 135mm in NX mount.
