Seriously, Olympus. Where's my E-P6?

Olympus E-P3 and E-P5 were both Sales Disappointment @the critical time of its CEO removal and financial scandal.  AFAIK, E-Px lines were AX right then.

Unfortunately for you, and fortunately for us, Olympus E-M5 prove to be an instant sales success.  Olympus saw the light and quickly fellow up with an lower end E-M10, which was another hit, and a higher end E-M1.

There were talk about eliminating the entire PEN lines completely in favor of E-M series.  What saved the PEN lines were actually the extremely popular Olympus PEN E-PL5/E-PL6 in Japan and entire Asia.  These lower-end Selfie-Capable is actually why Olympus haven't AX the PEN line completely.

The PEN-F was not intended as a replacement, not to mention it's C-AF is rubbish and it's overpriced.

According to an Olympus rep I spoke it, it actually is the "Spiritual" successor of Olympus e-P6, even if you don't want it to be.  PEN-F is targeted @the same sophisticated owner as the original e-P1/P2/P3/P5 owners.  Which by the way, always have terrible C-AF anyways.

The E-PL7 doesn't have programmable dials, so it's not a viable option, as far as I'm concerned.

e-PL series was aim @selling to Asian women.  They weren't design for you anyways.

So I ask you - "Where's my E-P6?"

the existance of PEN-F killed E-P6 anyways.  There is not enough of YOU to justified making an entirely different camera just to please you.
