No SD Quattro DNG option in Sigma Capture Pro ?

Title says it all.
My roller-coaster like experience with Sigma Capture Pro was almost-almost there, the final stretch ended up being yet another peak before a drop:
- Decided to go my SDQ way for a tethered setup using the 30mm f:1.4 that came in the kit. I am actually on the verge of getting a 18-35mm f:1.8 rather than coughing the same money in a refurbished E-M5 mk2 with to use the pixel shift option with one of my already owned, gazillion 4/3 & m43 high quality lenses.
- Got me an 8" Win 10 tablet specifically for that purpose. For the record, it is insane what $90 can buy nowadays.
- Installed Sigma Capture Pro. Lo and behold, the thing opens in a fixed size, non-zoomable little crappy window. The sort of thing that will give you a postcard sized interface (non resizeable) on a 24" screen. Pretty much the size of a large matchbox on my tablet. No full screen mode. No resize. This thing has been thought for 1024x760 or something.
- Went through the angst of guessing whether I'll need an extra hdmi monitor, as it seems to be the case with the SD1. Ended up finding that LV button (after using the zoom tool in Windows. There is Live View with the SDQ. Yeaaay
- Connected usb cable. All good, except it's not communicating. Eventually found out camera has to be put in control mode in the menu.
- IT'S ALIIIVE ! IT WOOORKS !!!
Have to know where to press, though, on account of the thing being too small on a tablet to read anything...
Then, a little play on a regular computer to check the settings. Let's see the file settings... Ooooh, this looks sooo civilized, let's see, "Image Quality": RAW, RAW+Jpeg, the usual... No DNG, but hey, my SDQ is already set to DNG, no ? It should hold the setting and override, no ?
No.
No no no no no no no
The setting is overridden by the SCPro software to be RAW or RAW+Jpeg, or whatever.
Once disconnected from the cable, the camera reverts to DNG.
I pride myself as having a decent sense of humor, so I can get the joke, even if Apri 1st was two days ago.
SIGMA, I WILL CONTINUE TO TRY AND USE YOUR PRODUCT IN A WORKING (MODEST) STUDIO SETUP DESPITE YOUR EFFORTS TO DISSUADE ME. THOU SHAN'T PASS !!! TRY ME !!! THROW SOMETHING MORE !!! WE WILL KEEP SHOOTING X3F, THEN LEAVE OUR COMPUTERS OVERNIGHT TO PROCESS A CARD WORTH OF FILES TO TIFF BEFORE WE CAN START ANY ACTUAL WORK !!! WE ARE CRAZY !!! WE SHALL WIN !!! WE ARE eeeehhh, w t f wth do I bother.
Sigma - the ultimate exercise.
I haven't bought a cheap, refurbished, sub- $700, fast, phone-controllable (and tethering software controllable if needed), pixel-shift capable (for my easy static subjects that even the Sigma's AF can handle) E-M5 mk2. Yet. The question is why.
PS: Would a kind heart owning an SDQ-H test whether the case is the same with the H model ? It's an easy check, you actually don't need the original Sigma cable, a regular micro-usb from your phone will typically work (just plug it in the larger part of the original 10-pin micro usb connector on the camera). Thanks
